Highly coveted recruited Romeo Langford of New Albany Indiana has officially trimmed his list to 3 schools in his recruiting process: Indiana, Kansas, and Vanderbilt. Langford is currently ranked as the #5 overall player in the country, and the top player in Indiana.
By trimming the list to 3, Langford has cut out the following schools: Louisville, Kentucky, North Carolina, and UCLA.
Romeo is a highly prized recruit who has had a long term recruiting process from the most elite programs in the country. Whoever is able to land him will bolster their team into title contention as he could very well be one of the best college players his freshman year.
Langford has already stated that he will not sign with a school during the Nov 8-18th early recruit signing period, rather waiting to see how coaches handle their teams.
For Indiana to land Langford, they will need better outings than last night in which they were blown out at home vs. Indiana State 90-69. Archie Miller vowed his team will improve and called them out for being a “soft team”.
Another recruit to keep an eye on is Darius Garland. Garland is going to announce his decision on Monday, one which is seemingly coming down to Indiana and Vanderbilt.
Landing either of the two recruits would be monumental in Archie’s first year as the head coach at Indiana. Landing both may get him the best class in the country (currently ranked #12).
