As we continue the Andrew Luck “shoulder watch “, any news is big news im Indianapolis.

Listening to the Grady and Big Joe show on 1070 the fan Monday morning, both Mike Chapell and Will Caroll expressed their belief that Luck will begin throwing at some point this week in order to test it out and set up a gameplan for training camp, which opens for the Colts on July 29th.

Both believe that this is in fact a common time table for recovering from the labrum surgery that Luck had in January, and this week puts us at 8 weeks until week 1’s showdown in Los Angeles. Various therapists and surgeons believe that the timeframe to build the strength back in his throwing shoulder commonly would take 6 weeks, unless there is a setback.

So it sounds like right now all things are on track for Andrew Luck to make a full recovery and hopefully be ready for week 1. However it could always change and we truly will not know until Luck officially begins throwing.
